Course Description

This is a comprehensive course on how to do Web/Graphic designs. This is a self paced course. This does not mean that you have as much time as you want to complete this course. The course should take one year to complete. You will be learning all the subjects listed on the left by doing book work, assignments, taking test, and developing Web sites. From time to time your instructor might offer you the opportunity to do a Web site for a local business or make you aware of an internship possibility.

Career Outlook

Web design is more that just designing Web sites or pages. The industry expects you to have an understanding of graphics and print. The Department of Labor has projected a strong need for Web/Graphic designers during the next decade. To help you find employment your instructor will be e-mailing you job opportunities on a regular basis. It is your responsibility to obtain employment. Your instructor will help you obtain this goal as much as possible. It is recommended that you have a portfolio of at least 10 Web sites by the time you complete this course.
